Sun’s Out, Lens Out

We are on the way out of lockdown and we are all so close we can taste the freedom. We have all endured the cold weather, the snow, rain, wind and even the sunshine, but getting out and about is on the cards for everyone in the next few weeks and I personally cannot wait!

The one thing that I am most looking forward to is getting back out in the sun, getting some colour, having some barbeques and most of all getting back to taking photos in the sunshine. It is one of my favourite things to do. To pack a bag, take my camera and just drive, to find places where I have never been before and to create new photos for my customers. I also do the same if I am going for a long walk in the summer. It’s so much fun to make a day of it, stop at a pub, explore new areas, see new sights and generally have a great day.

It always amazes me that there are so many beautiful sights right on our doorstep and not a lot of people know about them because it can sometimes be daunting to venture out, and I’m not going to lie, sometimes it is scary and I don’t like going alone. But grab a friend, have full charge on your phone, take a sat-nav, use a map. Whatever you have to do to make yourself comfortable when adventuring, do it. Once you have done it once you won’t want to stop, you’ll make memories, and you will find new places and along the way take some beautiful and breathtaking pictures.

I don’t always go and venture out, sometimes I stay in the garden, visit local attractions, sit in a park and have a picnic, whatever I do, I always enjoy it and cannot wait to do it again and again.

Soon lockdown will be over and adventures will start again, pictures will pour in, the sun will be out and so will the lens.

Happy Snapping!
